Okay first of all I’m new to the forum so whats up guys?? Anyways, I’m 19 almost 20 in college and I’m looking to get a tattoo on my right chest. The only thing is that right now I’m pretty skinny 6′ 155lbs but I’m int he process of working out. So my question is that if I get a tattoo now and I begin to seriously lift and put on muscle, will the image get distorted because of the new muscle? Thanks!!

Welcome to the forums. If your tattoo is altered at all by muscle gain, it will be barely noticeable if at all. Tats go for retouching about every 10-15 years or sooner anyway. But if you keep your ink well moisturized it will reduce the chances of it getting warped. Get a routine where you moisturize it everyday. Good luck and again welcome.

Hmmm…I have one on my wrist already, and when I pull back my wrist it gets distorted, that’s why I was thinking this would happen to my chest….thanks though

That’s skin though… you can pull on any skin and distort ink. But muscle gain shouldn’t do anything.
