I only have one tattoo, and it’s a few square inches big and on my upper back. I love it so much and want to make sure that it ages well and preserves and looks great still as I get older (I am only 20). Please post your tips on looking after a tattoo so that it ages well. I know keeping it out of the sun is a major thing, but anything else???

Sunblock, just your daily moisturizers if youre into that, all tattoos fade over time, what looks great today will probably look way differnt in 30 years time lol:)

keeping it out of the sun is a real biggy

use complete block for the tattoo if you can r also be prepared to have it touched up or the colours renewed every ten – fifteen years.

colours will fade eventually but most tats done recently will keep the colours pretty well as the new ink is very good compared to a few years ago.

just look after the skin like its very delicate and you will be ok

After you take a shower, get into the habit of using a neutral lotion or moisturizer on your tat. It nourishes and preserves your skin.
