I am new to the site. I am a successful engineer. I have decided that I don’t want to do the “corporate” thing any longer. I have always been into art and tattoos. I asked myself….”if I could do anything in the world, what would I want to do?” My answer was a tattoo artist. So, at the young age of 40, I have decided I am doing it. I have started an apprenticeship and am practicing as much as possible. I haven’t given up my “day job” (engineering) yet, but hope to do tattooing full time sometime in the future.

Thanks for the support. It is definately a HUUUGE career change. I have come to the conclusion that very few people get to do what they love to do. I want to be one of those people. I will post pictures of my progress and welcome any constructive criticism as my entire goal is to get better…period. I want brutal honesty.
