    I got a tattoo 5 days ago, It has black outline with a red fill for part of it. I used the cream the artist gave me 3-4 times daily and something really weird has happened:

    the red fill has completely disapeared. The balck is fine and healing well, but the red is no more.

    Does my body reject the red ink?
    Has anyone had a similar experience or heard of this happening before?

    any suggestions, comments?

    Hi there,

    red ink is known for its reacting with people skin. I still have itchyness and raised skin with mine after 11 years. However, Ive never heard of it disappearing altogether. Id go back to your artist and explain, he should if hes decent, re ink it for you.
