I already know that scabbing is normal and don’t pick at it; well, I got this nautical star tattoo a couple of weeks ago and the middle of it scabed up. I’ve been good and didn’t scratch or pick at it. Today, it came off on its own. And what do you know, the whole part where the scab was, there is now no more ink. So, now I have a star with a little bit of pink skin right in the middle. It looks stupid, how did that happen and what to do, are they going to be able to go over my new scar?
the scab fell off on its own with the ink eh? thief!! sorry- couldn’t help it… sounded appropriate in my head at the time…
If I were you- make sure your tattoo is completely healed and go back to your artist to have him/her– THEM- fix it for you- most tattoo artists (if not all of them) will do free touch ups… explain your situation and I’m sure they’ll do it for you no issues =D
good luck

Hmmmm, sounds like you’ve been butchered. That kind of scab shouldn’t occur with modern needles, inks, techniques and knowledge of aftercare. I reckon you’ve been well and truely nailed, literally!!
Look on the bright side, you havent found out you have a blood infection yet, or worse!
