Hows it going everyone.

I had some colour tattoo work done a while ago, it has red that fades through orange to yellow, in a black outline. I love the tattoo but have been thinking lately that it would look a bit nicer if it was solid red with black outline.
Is it easy for an artist to go over orange and yellow with red?

Any help is greatly appreciated
