I got a tattoo of a few stars on my foot exactly a week ago, and have done everything i was told to keep it clean and moisturized. It has scabbed up a little, and was told this is normal but as i was in the shower today some of the scabbing came off with some ink, and now i can see where the scab was, since i see a little dent (if that makes sense?). the skin underneath where the scab was still has color though..
will my skin eventually even out or should i be worried?

i got ink on my foot and it healed horribly. It ended up being very faded and not nice at all. I’d say when in doubt as your artist

if you can see the dent and it HAS some of the tattoo color, then it’s ok – don’t panic
if it looks like your flesh-color, then the artist “dug-in” and it’s going to scar like that… with one dot of your natural skin color poking thru… (at least until you have the artist touch it up)
