I’m 16 and I just got my first car. It’s a 1994 Chevy Metro hatchback. It’s an OK car coz I can get to my friends or go out without any problem.

The problem is that when I drive it over a speed bump in my neighborhood, the steering wheel shifts either to the right or left. Or when I drive it over an uneven pavement, the steering gets all wobbly and shaky.

Also it doesn’t like being driven on pebbled surface or any surface with small rocks. The whole car just slows down to a crawl even when I press the gas really hard.

I drove it with my friends, 5 total in the car last week and I think it messed up the engine or something coz the car got kinda heavy. Is that connected to the wobbling or shaky steering?
