opinion. please share urs too!? Dog fighting is a cruel, sadistic, gruesome, and idiotic act. This has been a hot topic lately, and many people are linking Hip Hop as an influence to dog fighting.

In my opinion it is not fair to hold, accuse or generalize a whole culture as responsible. There are artists out their that glorify dog fighting, and I think it is fair to say that SOME rappers glorify this gritty act. As a true Hip Hop fan I think that the people who are blaming the culture need to just shut up. Once again, you need to blame certain rappers, and it is ignorant to generalize. With that said, yes, DMX does portrait dog fighting as cool. You can see it in his lyrics, music videos, album artwork, myspace whatever. People need to quit listening to that sh*t and listen to real hip hop. (MF Doom, A tribe called quest, talib kweli…) u get my point.
No offense but the trash that some artists put out there is irritating.

As for Vick I cant say what influenced him. Its pathetic that professional athletes would
invest their time and money into this crap. Im not making any accusations yet, but if they find him guilty then I hope he blew all his money on cars, hookers, and dogs cause hes gettin locked up, loosing his sponsor deals with Nike etc., and I hope wont play in the NFL ever again. Too bad he’s not a passing QB cause by the time he gets out his legs will be done. I wouldnt be too surprised to see him cleaning up spills on Isle 6 of my grocery store 10 years down the line. Unfortunately that wont happen, please feed me ur ideas and thoughts on these three topics: dog fighting, mike vick, hip hop/rap. thanks guys…
