Hi, I got a tattoo done in april this year, unfortunately the tattoo got infected, the infection was really bad, it ate through the skin pretty bad, i was in a lot of pain, most of the ink came off, the tattoo just pealed off, some of the ink stayed. I decided to wait for a while before doing anything further.
The skin healed back with very little ink, the area around the tattoo is badly damaged with hyper pigmentation and uneven pigmentation.
I have been to quite a few different doctors, some have suggested laser, some have suggested to lighten the skin a little bit and cover the area up. But frankly confused as to what the next step should be.
It has been a heart breaking journey since April, i have attached a few pictures of the tattoo post getting inked, i have also attached a few images of the infected tattoo and what it looks like presently.
