Hi Jamdemos
Don't worry - we should get a sticky put up really. In answer to your question - no it is not healed. What you are seeing is only the very top surface beneath it is still very raw and tender. The average tattoo takes around 14 days to heal completely on the surface and 4-6 weeks to heal fully beneath the skin. The pigment is trapped in the lower dermis so if you go scrubbing the top layer of skin or messing with chlorene in swimming baths this can damage the tattoo's colour. This is because the skin below is scar tissue that is still healing. The tattoo should heal enough in 2 weeks but avoid hot tubs and swimming for a further 2 weeks after just to be sure. You should also avoid direct/strong sunlight for at least a month to 6 weeks. Take Care Matthew
