    what do you think of where i want the star at, and i want the star to be the size of a hand palm, would it look better red and black or black and white

    Keep in mind that the colours will fade slightly with time. You can get them re-touched though.

    With this in mind, black and white might be more effecive for longer.

    My cousin has a red and black nautical star on her stomach too! Haha. Red and black looks pretty cool, but personally I would do like purple or green and black.

    dude traditional naut stars are black and red and palm size is just about right just make sure its done straight:cool:

    I’m of the opinion that the red and black versions are some of the few tattoos that actually look *BETTER* faded over the years.

    Hi

    Most of the nautical stars I have seen are red and black.
    Both are easy colours to reshade should you want to.
