I’ve been looking all over the web and trying to figure out what’s going on. I hope someone can help.

I got a tattoo on my foot 24 days ago. I have gone without socks or shoes the entire time. I’ve treated it like “wet ink” and really been cautious. I used Aquaphor on it for about 4 days, then switched to Lubriderm. It peeled nicely after the first week and has healed beautifully. I still wash it 2 – 3 times a day and keep it lubed.

For about the past week, I have noticed a purple discoloration right in the center of the tattoo that seems to be darkening and spreading. It looks just like a bruise, but there hasn’t been any trauma to the foot after the tattoo was done. I’m thinking it’s more like a reaction?

I don’t know, but I’m hoping someone here does. ??
