I had a great time at the Calgary Tattoo Arts Festival, met a lot of great artists. I got this on Friday, done by BJ Betts. I have to say that just watching as he autographed books and prints I now see that great lettering really is an art. I was right next to Big Meas as well. Two of the best Iin the world at what they do.
Anyways, I asked for a feminine filigree anchor with flowers and pearls and here’s a pic of the result:
Thanks everyone. As soon as I saw the stencil for the anchor I knew I was going to love it. And the roses … they are absolutely stunning in person, my poor picture taking skills don’t capture them well at all.

Another highlight of the weekend … I got introduced to an artist who is at the very top of my wishlist. He said he will fill in that last spot on my sleeve of masqueraded ladies next year when he comes back to Canada (hint: he’s a big buff German fellow who just kills it at realism). :D:D:D
