Just curious on your guys opinions of Bullseye Tattoo in New York. I was going to use either Victor or Cesar. Also what are some of your suggestions of excellent black&grey artists in New York. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Right on dude! both do solid black & grey by the looks of both portfolios. Victor has done some pretty sweet B&G pieces.

I would choose some of ny’s more prominent artists! There is an incredible amount of talent available

Yeah I think he’s $200 per hour if I recall correctly (definitely not more than $225). Last Rites is obviously a great choice also. It all depends on what you want to get. Caesar works heavily from reference and likes to blend various references together to create something new. He’s a really laid back guy, but very excited to show you his latest work which is something you really want from an artist.

Johnny Thief’s work is solid, but not exceptional. However, he does have a lot of experience with coverups and he’s a really cool guy. Matt Lukesh (his partner) is quite good imho. His portfolio is way out of date though so be sure to check out his latest work on FB.

Here’s a phoenix Johnny just did recently (snagged from his FB page).

I would absolutely love a piece by Booth, that goes without saying. But I hear he charges something like $400/hr? I understand its top notch work but thats pretty excessive dont you think?

My buddy has a full body suit with some of the top names in the world

He says out of all the artists who every tattooed him Paul was by far the most painful

He also says Paul starts with the shading and finishes with the lining – not sure if that is true

Paul has offered to tattoo me a few times (for free) I really should take him up on that some day – trouble is i don’t really have much space left

WOW. How did you get that offer? Hell, if you don’t want to take the offer, send it over this way 😀
