My girlfriend and I are looking for a tattoo book to look at for inspiration. What’s the best tattoo book out there?

    Hi

It really depends on what style of tattooing you are after.
I have read several which had great designs and examples but some were specific to style eg tribal or Japanese.

My first bit of advice is hit your local library as it is free and then if you spot something take a look in the bibliography and follow it up from there.

Otherwise I am happy to suggest a few once i know what you are after.

    Hi Matt.

I’m not sure which type I want for my arm, but I know for sure that I don’t want any asian sign tattoos.

    Hi Avon

I would recommend the following books

Tattoo Design Directory – Vince Hemingson

It doesn’t have to specifically a tattoo book, but any image that inspires you. Then find that artist that can translate in a tattoo.
