    Hi All,

A few months ago I got this tattoo of a mountain on my chest:

Whilst I think that it’s OK, I think that it could be improved a lot. Some people look at it and genuinely ask me “What is it?”. This is dissapointing to hear. I’d like to get it redesigned so it looks more realistic and there is no doubt that it is definitely a mountain.

I think it should be a darker colour (primarlily jet black) so that it stands out more. Also I’d like to add snow to it in white ink to make it look more realistic and cooler.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
It would be awesome if someone could photoshop my images to help me out and give some inspiration.

    Cheers all

    Macka

you should just go to a shop and talk to artists about that. besides you don’t seam to know what exactly u wan’t doing with the tattoo. personaly i would add a view like maby path going behind it tree and a sky.

Yes as Eveline said, you should create a mountain scene rather than just the object by itself. That’s why it’s so indistinguishable. I want you to keep in mind that white ink fades very quickly and needs reinking quite regularly.

Personally, I like mountain scenes stylized like this:

    Fuji mountain and waves:

Katsushika Hokusai was an inspirational artist. His work is mainly of Mount Fuji.

    Enjoy.
