Very well said inkybits, and I wholeheartedly agree!! I’ve got skin ‘issues’ too so I’ve gotta be careful, that’s why I check EVERYTHING out before I buy it. Not only that but I don’t do cheap when it comes to my inkwork, so why the hell would I want to risk using something on it that’s gonna doom it to fade out, just to “go with the flow” cuz…[Read more]

Exactly! NO ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT unless you actually have an infection. There’s a tattoo shop owner on another forum that said he “will not be held responsible if they don’t follow THEIR aftercare instructions” which include using Bepanthan (petroleum and paraffin wax – NOT good). Sorta hit me wrong because while I understand how important…[Read more]

The reason polysporin ‘pulls ink out’ is because it’s petroleum based. So is bepanthen. Although antibiotics are good, you can keep the wound clean at all times to help avoid infection & not use the petroleum products. Savlon and bepanthen also both contain paraffin (a wax used to make cheap candles) and it’s known to clog pores which can be…[Read more]

Welcome to the forum and what is your idea for the new ink?

Well, lets see. I have a real hard time explaining my idea for the next ink I want (guess that’s why I dont have it yet lol) but I’ll try. Guess you could call it party tribal-ish and party ‘gang’ looking in a very odd way.

I’m new here but I saw this post and had to chime in… I second the HEMP STICK. It’s good sh*t. I’d been using bepanthen at first (2 days) and while that did ok, the itching was fierce. On day 3 my hemp stick came in the mail & that stuff felt good the second I put it on. Lasts forever too.
