You really don&#8217;t need anything mediated, your body will heal a tattoo just fine with or without it. The reason for ointment is a lot more utilitarian.</p>

Unless you actually sunburned it enough to loose skin layers, in which case your ink is not settled as deep as it would be after a couple of months and you may loose some of it. You could call them &#8220;neo-polynesian&#8221; or something like that. The true traditional styles are usually much plainer because of the tattoo technique they had to use.</p>

A blow out happens when they penetrate too deep to the layer that isn&#8217;t attached to the layer below it (5th or 6th I think?). This is not usually fixable with a touch up. Also, the tattoo should peel at about day 5 or 6. You need maybe 3mm at least between the blue areas so even your thicker bars are pushing the limit. The thin line down the middle is a big problem.
