Im going to agree with them about using a larger space. the size that I’m drawing it at to get it detailed at all is too big to make it wrap around my arm and I’m a pretty big guy. Even if it could fit on your arm with any detail, my opinion is that its a tattoo that wouldn’t look great if you couldn’t see the whole piece at once.

I agree you should go to a doctor to get it checked out. I’ve had a staph infection before, it’s no problem if you get it taken care of early but it really sucks if you let it wait.

In florida (especially in the places where tourists spend a lot of time such as I-drive in orlando) there are many shops that I would not trust based on lack of cleanliness so make sure you check out the shop before you get the tattoo

I would suggest switching to a non allergenic, unscented skin lotion (the last time I got a tattoo my artist suggested equate advanced recovery skin care lotion)

I like the idea of the phoenix on the ribcage instead of on the back. Since the quotes are so personal, I would suggest making the decision on your own instead of asking people you don’t know. just my opinion

the arm really isn’t that painful, If you are worried about regretting the tattoo then you might not be ready to get one, before my first tattoo someone with alot of tattoos told me to wait for at least a year and if I still wanted to get the tattoo then to go ahead and get it

yea it would be pretty big, and i think that design would look best if it was about the size of a grapefruit or smaller. you could try using 2 short or medium length phrases instead of long ones, but if you already have longer phrases picked out, you could think about a shamrock in the middle with one phrase above and one below.

sounds like a cool idea, the shamrock idea could be confusing if you are following the outline, especially when the sentence gets to a corner. if you want to include a shamrock you could get a regular shamrock with the text written in a circle around it
