Care to elaborate as to why?

I just think that despite the obviously abstract style of the painting, the artist was lacking the ability to reproduce details that should and could have been reproduced.
The blue mountains in the background, for instance, are bland and lacking definition.

Also, this was immediately after the tattoo was done and I was told it will look different once healed, would that make any difference?

Tattoos change until fully healed. It will take at least four months to heal. Relax, give it time.

Care to elaborate as to why?

It doesn’t look like the original much!
