									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just a small note&#8230;.  some sites will &#8220;translate&#8221; a name into Kanji, but what they really do is write similar *sounding* syllables in Chinese/Japanese.  So Mary would be the Chinese symbols that sound like &#8220;Mare&#8221; and &#8220;EE&#8221;.  That can be fine, but it can result in some odd meanings.</p>

You could ask the person who did it for the brand name.  Amateur vs professional tattoos can be important.
