You should get it lasered first then get the cover.  That way it won&#8217;t be peaking from under your new ink.  A few treatments should lighten it up enough.  It&#8217;s not that bad, I&#8217;ve seen a lot worse.  Another thing don&#8217;t go back to your friend to get your rework, find a pro.  Good luck.</p>
