There are exceptions to everything. However very few for having text tattoos.

It’s a win win for both of you. You get exposure if they put it on their website or Facebook, and they get exposure from your blog.

Is it better to gain exposure from others? I’ve always been happy exposing myself.

Listen to the song and look at the lyrics and see if there is anything in the song that gives you an idea. If the song is the bowling for soup song, it keeps talking about ice cream. The top part looks like a decent start to a sleeve, it doesn’t come together very well at the bottom to me. If it’s not going to be made into a finished sleeve I don’t like it at all.
