You’re lucky that the piece is small, and that you want to keep it celtic. I’ve heard that covering a celtic piece with another celtic piece isn’t that hard.

I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to cover that up. but I’d toss that last design idea out, its way too intricate, it’ll look like a blob of ink after a couple years.
