I&#8217;m kind of in the same boat because I want a half sleeve, but need to work around a big Celtic cross.  Hopefully this summer I&#8217;ll get working on it.</p>

Not only did it really not work, the artist said it made the skin very rubbery and difficult to tattoo.  The parts where she tattooed after using the numbing cream healed awfully.  It scabbed very heavily and lost a lot of ink.</p>

He&#8217;s trying to get back to people with work in progress.  Looking at the portfolios at NY Adorned, Kaz&#8217;s Japanese work looks really good.  No idea how far out he may be booked, though.</p>

I would wash it, let it air dry until it felt tight, then put on a very small amount of A &amp; D, rubbing it into the skin and patting off the excess, not just covering it with a layer of ointment. <p>Thanks.  All the Evil Dead stuff is a half sleeve done by Shane O&#8217;Neill.  A couple of the pics don&#8217;t look that great because of the angle and the way my arm is turned.  Getting pics of the back of your own arm is a bitch.</p>
