With a piercer, the instruments are sterilized so you can not get anything from them whereas many of the piercing guns can only be wiped down. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I would get GOOD jewelry and leave it in there. Nosebones are meant for healed piercings. Your piercer should have much better stuff than that. Just be careful when washing your face, etc so you don&#8217;t lose it. Since it&#8217;s still bleeding make sure you keep cleaning it and treat it like it a brand new piercing.</p>

<p>You really minimize the chances of having problems if you:<br />
1) get a pro to do it<br />
2) use non-alcoholic antibacterial mouthwash when you need it (after you eat) &#8211; NOT every 5 minutes<br />
3) change to a shorter bar after it&#8217;s healed<br />
