Cheers for your reply:) It&#8217;s not itchy and the doc wouldnt give me antibiotics as he felt I didnt need them!!!! I jsut hope the doc was right and I dont need antibiotics cos personally I believe antibiotics would do the trick but hey I&#8217;m no Doctor so who am I to say what&#8217;s what!! <p>Well the update is as follows: Stopped using the hydrochloride cream as wasnt doing anything, got some Aqueus cream as advised from doctor and that wasnt making any difference either apart from temporarily keeping the skin supple. So have stopped putting creams on and just been keeping it clean. Am just keeping clean and gently moisturising at present but have a feeling will have to get some antibiotics off the doc:(</p>

<p>I have decided to stop using any creams on the tattoo other than Aqueous to moisturise for the time being and to simply wash in clean soapy water 3 times a day as you have advised.
