You don’t need to worry so much. You can wash the tattoo with soap as you want. This is not harmful for your tattoos. People generally use ointment but it damages the ink of the tattoo.

If you are using the laser therapy, then after the treatment the area around the mole would be red or brown. Generally a CO2 laser mole removal is used. After the surgery you should not expose the area to the direct to the sunlight.

The green ink tattoos offers problem during the time of laser removing process. It is difficult to remove its ink. The green ink tattoos absorb only the red light laser and offer some pain. But the color does not change to black.

If you want to remove your tattoo, laser method would be safe. But this method depends on numbers of factors like size of tattoos, colors of the tattoos, depth of the tattoos, and type of skin. It is not so effective on bright colors. If you have medium sized tattoos then four sessions would be sufficient.

I think, you should not use Vaseline on your tattoos. It is very thick and forms an occlusive barrier on the tattoos. You can try with Bepanthen cream, it is safe.

Generally, it happens. I have also faced the same situation. When the ink is healing, then the body absorbs and flushes out the medium so it leaves the ink particle.
