Ive been thinking of a tree or vine that subtlely twists into an M. But now the issue of placement. I most often see tree and vines on the side but i dont really care for that on me. I was actually thinking of my chest.

Im thinking of perhaps a tree or vine that subtlety twists into the shape of an M. (My fiancee’s name is Michele) But the placement im not sure of. Ive seen similer tattoos placed on the side but im not sure if thats what I want. ive actually been thinking of my chest but not sure of how it would look. If anyone has any pictures that would be helpful.

I personally think that people only get them based on how that they look “cool.” Im not asian and would never get one. Its only because chinese designs are unique to us as non asians that people get them. Im talking about lettering. not like dragons or anything like that. I guess it all boils down to personal preferance.

perhaps the exact opposite of what is on your other arm? Perhaps like an angel/demon, black/white type thing? If you could post a pic that would be helpful.

Perhaps something that looks like some form of a vine or plant to represent growth? if anyone has some visual pics as well that would be awesome. Maybe it could be like an M. (her name is Michele) that looks as if it has grown from a vine? Good idea, Bad idea? What do you think? It could be altered as well if anything were to happen.

oops. sorry about the introduction. i wasn’t aware of that. i rarely ever go on forums. anyway thanks for the ideas. yeah i just know of to many people who have gotten name tattoos and later regretted it.
