Veiny Rash stuff ruining my tat

I've got a tattoo on my right shoulder, got it about three weeks ago, and towards the bottom of it where it was a complete solid black fill, there were these red vein-looking rashes coming out on it and now that it's going away I've got these gaps in the solid black now that are going to need re-filling.

I've got 5 other tattoos and they've all been taken care of the same way and I've never had a problem but this most recent one is bugging me. Any ideas as to what it could've been and what caused it?
