<p style=”margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;”>Hi, I am trying to decide whether to get my first tattoo on my shoulder or lower on my arm. I am hoping to get the fractal image of the Sierpinski Triangle (link below) What are the disadvantages of the arm  versus the shoulder? What would I lose by getting it on my arm? How much for a 4 inch triangle like this on my shoulder would you think is the right price, approximately? thanks for any advice!</p>

As a very square person with OCD tendencies and love of symmetric things, actually I hate symmetrical and basic form tattoos, for the simple reason that the skin is a fluid object. A perfect square or triangle or circle or any such thing will never look good.

So, I agree with buttwheat.. the disadvantage for either place is that it’ll be seen.
