Hey guys,

I’m new here, all the way from New Zealand! Thought I would post up some pictures of my tattoos.

This is my chest tattoo. Was done for my Nana that passed away.

Just a minor thing… that is not a half-sleeve. A sleeve “sleeves” your arm. This is an arm piece 🙂

Actually, being that there is some of the tattoo on the inside of his forearm, it would be a sleeve. Just sayin’.

Well, there can always be discussion on this issue, but IMO that is just a bunch of separate items on an arm. They do not blend together and close off the space, and although there is one item on the inside it is mostly bare. If you wore a sleeve like that outside in Iceland, you’d get mighty cold mighty quick 🙂 But let’s not argue over that here.

I get that, but, in today’s over populated tattoo world, a sleeve is usually seen as just that part of the arm, not the entire arm. Most people would see that as a sleeve. What I am getting soon wouldn’t be a sleeve, but, to explain it too people is far to hard as most of my friends are tattooless.

The some where over the rainbow was again for my nana that passed, she always told me when I was younger that whatever I dream to do can come true. Corny I no but you get that.

The words could be not straight from twisting my arm for the picture? I havnt really noticed hmmm

I’m getting some more work done on it this Wednesday, shading, filling in the blank spaces under my arm etc.

it’s one of the worst musical staves I’ve ever seen !! – and the ‘rainbow’ lyrics are really bad !

it was meant to be the piano notes to somewhere over the rainbow and the two bars are swerling around each other as it represents how close myself and grandma were.

Although they’re not great tattoos I’ve definitely seen worse that’s for sure. But with intricate linework needed for the musical stave and notes you have to be really selective with the artist. I have a much smaller area of notes on one of my tattoos but I think it’s much better done.

i think these guys are being a bit harsh here as yo pointed out it is a work in progress!!
would be great if you keep the pictures coming and we can see how it all comes together when its all done!
as for the boob comments i thought this was a tattoo forum not a take the piss outa peoples body parts forum!:confused:
