Hi guys and gals,

I have an interesting situation. I’m considering getting some leg tattoos but I have put it off in the past because my legs are really hairy with dark hair. I’m worried about spending all the time, energy and money on a tat that I can’t really see.

Do any of you have this problem? .can you post photos of a healed tat through a bunch of dark hair?

I went to google and put in “hairy leg tattoos” and I got a lesbian giving head to a strap on that was attached to another lesbian. Who wins there?

Anyway, convince me that my legs are a canvas and no I’m not committed enough to shave them.

I was thinking about having one on my chest but I am also put off by the hair so it will be interesting to see any pics,
I suppose if you had an animal you could leave it bald 😀

well me personally, my chest is really hairy, but to keep the angel on my chest more pleasing to the eye, i dont completely shave the hair, i just trim it down with a #1 guard every couple weeks. the shorter hair makes it much more visible. maybe consider doing something like that, because every inch of your body is canvas waiting for a master to grace it with art 😎

I have hairy legs too, and I just got my right leg done. The only way to really make it worth your while is to shave. I have both my arms done up in sleeves as well, and I have shaved my arms for years as to not hide my ink. It makes the tattoos look so much better to not be obscured by hair. Just my two cents, if you want an awesome leg piece, you gotta shave.

Good points all around…. I’m just not sure if I can make that commitment. Maybe I’ll get that shit lasered off first? I agree though, I don’t wait something that I can’t see. The weird thing is that from the waist up I’m like a 13 year old boy- Not a single dark hair to be found.

Yodaddy- Would you mind throwing a full grown our hair shot of your leg tat? I feel a little uncomfortable asking to see another mans bush and all but I think I have the context lined up so hopefully it’s not too weird.

That was my first thought. Would probably be the easiest way for you in the long run, however I dont have any personal experience with lasering off hair…

Holy hell. On your link, you need to click on the pussy on your leg tattoo. Nsfw?

Disregard the nsfw part. I figured it out. Good looking out.

for sure i will post pics, but i just shaved my legs before going to the state of grace convention so i will have to wait until the hairs grow back, haha. yeah obviously it looks a lot better when shaved, but dont let that stand in the way of getting one! imo, legs are very important real estate.

I say go for it, just trim it down when you’re showing them off, it doesn’t need to be done all the time.
As to getting it lasered off, it’s pricy and takes several treatments and isn’t guaranteed, it often doesn’t work on thicker hair, so don’t use it as a certainty.
