Hello all.

Quick question about tattoo cost. Just been quoted £700 as a full day for a 175mm x 125mm (7 inch x 5inch) full colour neo trad tattoo by a guest artist at a shop in London. Does this seem expensive or about right. Compared to other work I’ve had done seems on the high side but just wanted some other opinions.

that doesn’t seem like too much if the artist is good.

Rates vary greatly from location to location, where I live that would be quite reasonable.

The main thing is to get a great tattoo.

If I pay $1000.00 for a tattoo, (Nice one Dan, by the way) and I live for 20 more years, it cost me $50.00 per year for a great tattoo.

Depends on the tattooist if the tattooist is good yeah that is a good deal. If the tattooist sucks not a good deal at any cost. Provide a link to tattooist.
