Default a & d ointment on tattoos?

Not only did my tattooist suggest it but I have read on so many online tattoo aftercare to use it. Problem is, the first two times I used it right after I got my tattoo, a little bit of ink came out. Only on one teeny tiny section. So the line is thinner than it should be. So I switched to lubriderm lotion(the other thing they suggested). I have heard of a lot of people who use a & d ointment and have no experienced any ink leakage. So why would it happen to me? It's not that noticeable unless you're really close up to it.I'm wondering when my tattoo is healed, if I'd be able to do a touch up in the small section where the ink came out.I really don't need to touch the whole thing up any time in the near future. Now my first tattoo I plan on doing the whole thing. I'm just wondering if they'd do just one section and how much it would cost?Especially if you go through another tattoo place that would be more accessible(where there isn't construction going on in front of it).
Well it's just one tiny tiny line(thinner than the other lines).Everything else didn't come out.Plus my other tattoo didn't have a problem with holding the ink in.Though that needs to be touched up to.

I'm just wondering how much it would cost to get it touched up and if they'll just do one section?I guess it wouldn't hurt to know how much the whole thing would cost if i have to do it all.
Well I might not go back to the same place due to the construction and difficulty getting there. So I might go else where and get both tattoos touched up.Which is why I wonder what it would cost.
The other tattoo place is a good one too. An old friend of mine has a friend who works there. The one I went to though nice, it's extremely hard to get there.Very dangerous too because there's no side walk to walk on and I have to walk by construction trucks and hope I don't get hit.I have to get my first tattoo touched up as well. One spot only. It's only 20 dollars to touch it up at the one that's easier to get to.
If I can get a hold of the old friend.Other wise I'm not sure how much it is.

when i got my tattoo they told me the same thing too... use a & d for the first 2 days and clean it wiht dial soap. than just use lubriderm. if you recently got the tatto dont panic, just wait until your tattoo peels all the way and if it still looks funny to you then go back to the person who did ur tat so they can touch it up for you... and they shouldnt make you pay for that either. Good Luck!
